Craig played his youth hockey where he was born and raised in Windsor Ontario, Canada. Craig went on to have a successful Division 1 playing career at Bowling Green State University in the CCHA before playing 5-years professionally in numerous leagues throughout the United States, eventually retiring in 2005.

Craig's instruction and coaching resume spans over 30-years with programs across North America. Since moving to the DMV region in 2005, Craig has coached in numerous organizations, positively impacting the youth, junior, prep and collegiate career's of countless regional hockey players. Currently Craig serves as the Hockey Director for the Loudoun Knights Tier 2 Hockey Club, and the Director of Player Development for the Washington Little Capitals Tier 1 Hockey Club.

Craig's coaching philosophy is very detail orientated focusing on helping players succeed in the modern game of hockey. Craig co-founded 23Hockey with intentions to help as many regional players as possible, regardless of age, skill level or experience. Craig has a proven track record of developing and advancing players, and attributes that success to relationships he has built within the local, regional and national hockey community

Working with youth hockey players has always been a passion project for Craig, and a great way to give back to the game that has been so good to him. Craig lives in Leesburg VA, is married and has two 15-year old kids. Craig owns a business that has operated out of Loudoun County for 20 years.
